CCR - Final Task

Image
Below here is my CCR video. My bird, Mr. Green, is in the video, and I will like to thank him for being in my video. I had a great time filming and editing my CCR video. Here are the questions asked in my video: How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues? How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text? How did your production skills develop throughout this project? How did you integrate technologies in this project?

Final Task: Three Days

Image
Below here is my final task, which is my opening sequence. I enjoyed planning, filming, and editing my final task with my partner Sandy Andrade. I enjoyed working with my partner, and I am happy that I got to work with her on this big project. My partner and I are extremely proud of ourselves for what we have achieved in our final task. I hope you enjoy watching my opening sequence!

Final Task: Editing the Blood Clips

Image
For this blog, I will be talking about the editing process for the blood clips. The blood clips are in scene nine. For this blog, I will only mention two clips, which I gave the names clip one and clip two. In clip one, the actor has no blood on his hands, and in clip two, the actor has blood on his hand. I began the editing process for the blood clips by duplicating clip two. I then put the duplicated layer ten frames behind the original clip two. Next, I added Motion Tile to clip one, clip two, and the duplicated layer. I changed the settings of the preset by changing Output Width to 500 and Output Height to 500. I also enabled Mirror Edges in the preset. I made sure that I enabled motion blur on clip one, clip two, and the duplicated layer. I proceeded with the editing by adding an adjustment layer to my project's composition. I then added Twitch to the adjustment layer and enabled motion blur on the layer. Next, I changed the settings of the preset by changing the Amount to 240

Final Task: The transition for the Vision Scenes

Image
Today, I worked on the transition for the vision scenes. For the vision scenes, the clips will be in black and white. I began creating the transition by duplicating clip two (for this blog, I will only mention two clips, which I gave the names clip one and clip two). After duplicating clip two, I added an adjustment layer to my project's composition. Before I started adding presets, I made sure to enable motion blur to clip one, clip two, and the adjustment layer. Then, I added motion tile to the adjustment layer and fixed the settings. Next, I clicked on the duplicated layer and pressed S to create a zoom transition. After I created a zoom transition, I pressed T to open the clip's opacity. I then created a fade-out transition that went along with the zoom transition. I continued editing by adding S_Invert and changed the settings. I enabled Invert Red and Invert Green and changed the Tint Lights to light blue to make the clip look blue. I proceed with the editing process by a

Final Task: Beginning the Editing Process

Image
On March 6, 2021, I began editing my opening sequence. I first began the editing process by transferring my opening sequence clips from my phone to my laptop. I also transferred audio recordings from my phone to my laptop. After transferring the clips and audio recordings to my laptop, I opened After Effects CC 2020 and created a new project. After creating the new project, I imported all the footage I had to After Effects CC 2020. I proceed by setting the clips in order. Once I was done putting the clips in order, I turned on Motion Blur on my project's composition. I then cut some of the footage from clips one, two, three, and four to put them at their corresponding time length. I next imported the audio Indie Rock by Scott Holmes Music; the song is royalty-free. I cut some of the audio's length to put the audio at its corresponding time length. In order to make the audio sound like it is coming from headphones, I added the preset High-Low Pass to the audio. I then put the cu

Final Task: Filming More Scenes

Image
On March 29, 2021, my partner and I filmed scenes three, six, and seven. We were supposed to film scenes three, six, and seven at Pompano Community Park, but my partner and I could not film at the park because the actress was home alone with her little sister and she had to babysit her little sister. Instead of filming at the park, my partner and I filmed in the actress's backyard. I arrived at the actress's house by car; my mother drove me to the actress's house. Once I arrived at the actress's house, I wore my mask to follow COVID-19 guidelines. Before filming, my partner and I explained to the actress what we were going to film. We also gave the actress the storyboard and script, so that she can revise the storyboard and script. The actress wore a black shirt and black skirt for the filming of scenes three, six, and seven. After revising the storyboard and script, we gave the actress time to prepare herself before we started filming. Once the actress was done prepari

Final Task: Filming Process of the Bedroom Setting Scenes Part Two

Image
On the same day that I filmed scenes one and two, I also filmed scenes twelve, thirteen, fourteen, and fifteen. This blog will explain the filming process of scenes twelve, thirteen, fourteen, and fifteen. After filming scene two, I explained to the actor what he needed to do and how he was supposed to act for scene twelve before I started filming scene twelve. After the explanation, I began filming scene twelve by filming a close-up shot of the actor. I then continued filming scene twelve by filming a mid-shot of the actor. I next filmed a close-up shot of the actor again, and I then filmed another mid-shot of the actor. After I was done with the close-up shots and the mid-shots, I proceed to inform the actor what he needed to do and how he needed to act for scene thirteen. I started filming scene thirteen by filming an extreme close-up of the actor as he says, "In three days." Next, I recorded an audio of the actor saying, "In three days," to put it over the origi
